Easter fun

My mom does the most awesome scavenger hunt for the kids on Easter! This year they started at her house and by the time they had found their baskets they had ended up at the neighbors in the back of her truck. The kids look forward to this every year. It is definitely the hit of Easter!

This is a picture a Emma and Kodak at their first horse show last spring. Wow they sure have come along way since then. I can't believe how fast a year goes by. We are getting ready to start another show season already. I think Emma has grown a foot since this picture was taken.

Bradley turns 7!

Brad turned 7 on February 6th. He is such a sweet boy. We love him to pieces! He brings so much joy and excitement to our lives. He is such a boy and loves all the boy stuff. He loves to work and fix things. He can play for hours outside building things and then he wrecks it so he can fix it again. Happy birthday buddy!! We love you

Our little BIG girl

Bella went in for her 2 month check up yesterday. She weighs 12 lbs 1 oz and is 23 3/4 inches long. She is in the 95th percentile on her weight and height. She is VERY healthy. She also had to get the horrible shots. I hate them, I always cry. She just looked at me like why are you letting them hurt me.

Bella is such a happy baby. She wakes up at 4:00 every morning. When I go into feed her I get the biggest smile, it melts my heart. I love that time together when it is just the 2 of us.

Here are a few things Bella loves:

Over the hill

Well Tommy is officially over the hill! He turns 40 today. I normally don't get all emotional on my blog but what the heck. It is a great day to tell Tommy what a great husband and dad he is. He is truly the best. Everything he does is for me and the kids. He works harder than anyone I know to provide for us and never complains. We have a great home and everything we need. He loves his kids so much and they adore him. I know he loves me no matter what. Who else could put up with me for this long! I hope you have a great day! Love ya

Our Christmas

We had a great Christmas! Tommy's sister Michelle was able to come this year. It was great to see her. We started off with Christmas eve at my mom and dads house. We had dinner and opened our jammies. Christmas morning the kids where up bright and early. Emma got a camcorder, trampoline, and a new bright pink 22 gun. Brad got a motorbike, a new bb gun , and a pogo stick. Just to name a few ( the Mather kids got SPOILED this year!) Bella got a Leap frog activity table, and a Johnny jump up. For our family gift we got a WII with a ton of games to go with it including fit. The kids have done nothing but play.

Gingerbread houses

We made gingerbread houses last night. Brad is really proud of his. They both did a great job.

Beautiful Bella

Bella Michelle Mather is finally here!! She was a little late and we are so happy she is here. She was born on November 10th at 2:39 p.m. She weighed 7 lbs 5 oz and was 20 in long. She is amazing. She is one little girl that already has the whole family wrapped around her tiny little finger. Brad and Emma are just gah gah about her, it is so fun to watch them with her. She woke up this morning just as I got the kids up to get them ready for school. I went into find them both leaned over the crib giving her kisses. It was so cute. Tommy has turned into super dad, he has taken vacation days and it has been so nice to have him here to help and give him some great time to bond with his little Bella (he picked the name).

Homework

This is what our evenings look like. I can not believe how much homework my kids do! I am just grateful that I am able to be home when they get home from school so I can help them get it all done.

One cute, toothless boy!

Brad finally lost a tooth!! He has had a loose tooth for weeks now. He was so affraid it would hurt he would not let anyone touch it. Emma finally convinced him that Grandma was the best tooth puller, she pulled Emma's first tooth and it did not hurt a bit. So we went to Grandma's on Saturday so she could pull Brad's tooth. Doesnt he look cute? I love his little lisp when he talks. The tooth fairy even came that night, he is one happy boy!

Pogo scrabble

I just have to share with you my new obsession. I have been playing scrabble on pogo for about a month now. I have to limit my time to when the kids are sleeping, or doing homework. I LOVE it! I challenge you all try it. But you have been warned it is very easy to get addicted, just ask my family.

COUSIN BROTHERS

Quade and Brad are best friends. Quade calls Brad his cousin brother. They went hunting last weekend and ended up doing more fishing than hunting. Brad loves to fish, he just hates cleaning them. He can't even watch, he has the weakest stomach. And don't even ask him to put on his own worm! GROSS! Notice Quade is the only one holding the fish.

Grandpa and Grandma Taylor

I am just going to brag for a minute. I have the most amazing Grandparents in the world!!!! You should all be jealous. They have such a special place in all of our hearts and I am so glad my kids have gotten to know them. They make them feel so special. I am so glad we got to spend the weekend with them. We love them so Much!!!!!!!!

Fun filled weekend

The kids and I went to Salt lake this last weekend with my mom. It was an amazing weekend. We stayed with my sweet Grandma and Grandpa Taylor. It was so nice to spend some time with them, they are truly amazing. We are so lucky!!!! I of course forgot my camera so I don't have all of the cute pictures that I should have. On Friday night we went to see Mamma Mia with my 2 aunts Janet and Jil and my cousins Mary, Suz, and Liz. It was so nice to spend some time with them. On Saturday we started out the day shopping for baby stuff with Janet and Mary. Then we decided to ride the tracks up to the Energy solutions arena to take Brad to watch the AST Dew tour, it was a big skateboard and BMX competition. That was definitely the highlight of his weekend, he lives for skateboarding and is actually getting pretty good. After that we did more shopping at the gateway. Needless to say I got a lot of baby stuff bought and the kids had a total blast. Thanks mom for a great weekend!!!

"I like School"

Wow, those are the best words a mom could here! Bman came home from school yesterday and said those 3 little words. I wanted to cry. He has never been very enthusiastic about school, and likes to complain. But he does have a great teacher, and he has a new little friend that he talks about all the time. Maybe those two things have made his day much better. Lets just pray that it lasts!!!
